To create systemic change, we advocate for a new policy framework that recognizes and incentivizes sustainable companies in Switzerland. Therefore we launched a Manifesto for the Recognition of Sustainable Enterprises. We call on all Swiss decision-makers to support our initiative and sign the manifesto.

By 2030, we reduce the material carbon footprint of our main raw material by 77 % compared with 6.4 % in 2023, by incorporating an innovative alloy with a volume share of over 80 %*.
* Main raw material accounting for > 95 % of the volume of our supplied parts, representing a total reduction of 64,000 tCO2eq over 7 years.

By 2026, 80 % of our main suppliers by volume of purchases meet our responsible purchasing criteria and all sign our Supplier Relations Charter, compared with none by 2023*.
* Main suppliers representing 80 % of our total purchases. Annual audit in the form of a sustainability self-assessment questionnaire.

Internal operations
By 2027, all our employees benefit from an ergonomic approach that reduces ergonomic stress by 10 % per year, compared with 2023*.
* Ergonomic hardship assessed by an external expert organisation, monitored in particular using the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) and based on the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire (NMQ).

Internal operations
By 2024, we reduce our drinking water consumption by 90 % in volume, compared with 2021*.
* Representing around 2 % of our total tCO2eq emissions, on a total of 9,000 m3 of water per year. Continuously pursuing the trajectory of reducing natural resources.
Scope of pledges
Générale Ressorts SA operates in Switzerland and worldwide. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy applying to all Générale Ressorts SA operations carried out worldwide. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its scope of activity.
