Goal 1

By 2025, we improve the livelihoods of 1 million farmers through training and microservices*.


* The livelihood improvements comprise increase in income (through access to better inputs, knowledge, market linkages), improved sustainable farming knowledge for the entire family, and accessible educational material for women, children and semi-illiterate stakeholders.

By 2025, we reduce 25 % of our greenhouse gas emissions in Scope 1 & 2*.


* Based on the first Greenhouse Gas Inventory Baseline Assessment with Lloyd’s Register covering the fiscal year 2020/2021 and related to a regional context where most of the operations and thus greenhouse gas emissions are related to activities carried out in India through our nutrition division and our network of over 200 local partners.

By 2025, we carry out audits for 10 % of our suppliers (at least 20) which prove to be compliant with the principles set out in Innoterra’s Sustainability Principles for Business Partners*.


* Variety of suppliers in India such as Cooler Operators (local entrepreneurs that manage bulk milk coolers and collection facilities), Milk transport companies, Man power services, Banana vendors etc.

Supply chain

Scope of Pledges: 

Innoterra AG, Innoterra India AG and Innoterra Platform Services AG operate from Switzerland and India. In Switzerland, the company is represented by Innoterra AG. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy of all three divisions of Innoterra. They are jointly accountable for their implementation within their overall scope of work in both Switzerland and India. All commitments directly reinforce the Group's Environmental, Social, Governance and sustainability strategy.
