To create systemic change, we advocate for a new policy framework that recognizes and incentivizes sustainable companies in Switzerland. Therefore we launched a Manifesto for the Recognition of Sustainable Enterprises. We call on all Swiss decision-makers to support our initiative and sign the manifesto.

Goal 1
Core business
By 2028, we increase the proportion of our recycled raw materials to 20 %, and assess the feasibility and environmental impact of a reconditioning service for 50 % of our range.
Goal 2
Internal operations
By 2026, we reduce the use of single-use packaging for shipments in Switzerland by 20 %, compared with 90 % of single-use packaging in 2022, and increase the proportion of certified packaging to 100 % for all shipments by 2030*.
* Certified packaging (ISO14001, FSC, Cradle-to-Cradle), sustainable materials (FSC wood or paper, recycled cardboard or plastic), waste reduction (eco-designed packaging), compostability, re-use (excluding medical use). Represented share of our global carbon footprint currently being assessed.

Supply chain
By 2028, we make 80% of our direct purchases from suppliers who comply with our Supplier CSR Charter*.
* We assess and, where necessary, verify the compliance of these suppliers through CSR audits.
Goal 4
Internal operations
By 2025, we reduce our tCO2eq emissions by 30 % (Scopes 1 & 2), compared with no reduction in 2021, and by 2024, we commit to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) with the aim of covering Scope 3*.
* Baseline in 2021: 1083 tCO2eq, including 266 tCO2eq for heat and 817 tCO2eq for electricity.

MPS Micro Precision Systems AG operates in Switzerland. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy applying to all MPS Micro Precision Systems AG operations carried out in Switzerland. The company is therefore accountable for their implementation within the limits of its scope of activity.
