Sign our Manifesto for the recognition of Sustainable Enterprises!
To create systemic change, we advocate for a new policy framework that recognizes and incentivizes sustainable companies in Switzerland. Therefore we launched a Manifesto for the Recognition of Sustainable Enterprises. We call on all Swiss decision-makers to support our initiative and sign the manifesto.
Semadeni AG
Solutions tailored to plastics from a single source: 8,000 standardised products for laboratory, industry and science immediately available from stock. In addition, we develop and produce individual products in our own factories for injection moulding, blow moulding, thermoforming and CNC machining. We are also present in the food and pharmaceutical sectors with corresponding quality standards. We are ecologically forward-looking thanks to the use of recycled and bioplastics.

Goal 1
Core business
By 2025, we offer at least one reusable product for all disposable product categories in our catalogue*.
* Except for highly regulated specific purpose such as medical sample bags or disposal containers. Reusable products possible and relevant per product range only.

Internal operations
By 2030, we take back and recycle or reuse at least 250 t of plastic products from our customers, representing 20 % of our plastic material consumption.

By 2030, at least 40 % of both genders are represented in the essential management functions, with the longer-term goal of parity*.
* Starting point is a 25/75 gender ratio in the essential management functions, meaning CEO, Heads of Finance, Sales, Marketing, Production, Human resources, Sustainability and Quality management.

By 2030, we reduce our absolute greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1 & 2) by 46% compared with 2019, measure and reduce our Scope 3 emissions, and our tCO2eq target is in line with the 1.5°C trajectory of the Paris Agreement.

By 2022, 100 % of the electricity purchased at our production site comes from renewable sources.
Scope of pledges
Semadeni Plastics Group operates in various European markets through a number of subsidiaries in the DACH region with clear operational and commercial boundaries. In Switzerland, the company is represented by Semadeni AG. The pledges taken within the STI framework relate to the sustainability policy of Semadeni AG. The latter is therefore accountable for their implementation within its scope of activity. Where these commitments directly reinforce the Group's sustainability strategy, a special mention is added in the wording.
